Letter from DPM Student Jeff Pack

The Foundation for Environmental Agricultural Education (FEAE) was established in 1991 by the NAICC. As a 501(c)(3) foundation, the FEAE conducts activities that go beyond the scope of NAICC.

The mission of FEAE is "to catalyze innovative education and training for current and future professional crop management practitioners". The FEAE understands the term "professional crop management practitioners" includes both researchers and crop consultants.

To carry out this mission, the FEAE:

• supports the Richard L. Jensen scholarship for undergraduate students.
• cooperates to deliver the crop consulting message to high school students at the FFA convention
• works with universities to create advanced multidisciplinary degree programs
• supports the University of Florida Doctor of Plant Medicine program
• Encourages other universities to establish programs similar to UF's DPM
• supports DPM students' attendance and participation in NAICC meetings
• provides support for quality educational sessions for independent crop and research consultants at the NAICC Annual Meetings
• sponsors the annual Richard L. Jensen Memorial speaker at the NAICC Annual Meetings
